Yarn Expo Autumn - Focusing on Knitting Yarns
Despite economic gloom, professional buyers rushed off to Yarn Expo Spring to start their year with a trend focus. How great was the show of Top Grade Yarns, Color Yarns and New Blended Yarns this spring! Now, this autumn, Yarn Expo, back again.
Yarn Expo Autumn running this month, from 25 ¡ª 27 August 2009, is a platform dedicated to delivering innovative yarns & fibres - bringing together the greatest quantity & quality of professional buyers & suppliers to the upstream yarns & fibres market in China. The Autumn 2009 show has been strategically timed to run parallel to the China International Knitting Trade Fair and Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles.
The show is very specific and focused. Yarn Expo Spring will focus on woven yarns and Yarn Expo Autumn will focus on knitting yarns from this year.
Supplier-and-buyer matchmaking was organized in advance. Nearly 84 exhibitors from 7 countries and regions, a 55 percent increase from last year, have already confirmed their participation at the 5th edition of Yarn Expo Autumn.
Among the products on display are:
High-end fibres such as high count, compact combed cotton yarns and twisted yarns;
Color dyed yarns inclusive of chemical fibres, specialty fibres, functional fibres and eco-friendly fibres;
New blended fibres & yarns like cotton blend yarns and other core spun fibres.
Attendees will have the chance to engage in open discussions on the most up-to-date technology at the China Cotton Textile Technical Exchange Conference hosted by China Cotton Textile Association with participating exhibitors comprising of Shandong Ruyi, Nantong Shuanghong and Texhong (China) Investment Co., Ltd. What¡¯s more, product presentations will be offered on cotton, flax and wool items plus a special trend forecasting forum ¡°Fabrics China Trend ¡ª Knits and Yarns¡¯ will highlight A/W 10/11 trends.
In addition to finding the most recent yarns & fibres, visitors will stay informed of the latest in industry treatments, trends & products at the fair, Yang said.
Turkey, the largest country pavilion at the show, will return this year with a 15% increase in exhibition space. ¡°The fair attracts professional buyers from China and overseas. We are confident that the suppliers exhibiting under the Turkish pavilion will stand out at the fair,¡± said Mr İbrahim Burkay, Chairman of the Board of Uludag Exporters' Association, organiser of the Turkish pavilion. The Turkish exhibitors will feature high quality curtains, drapery and upholstery fabrics specialised for Asian and European markets.
Apart from the country pavilions, the show will gather leading home textile suppliers worldwide under special product zones for buyer¡¯s easy navigation. They include:

Sousa from Portugal, Lenzing from Austria, Kuan¡¯s living from Italy, Casablanca, Dinosaur (Kong Long), Fuanna and Luolai from China in the brand bedding and towelling hall; Dicitex Deco, a first time exhibitor from India with 120sqm trade space and US based companies New Line, Morgan, Richloom and Culp in the curtain zone; Recron, a leading home textile supplier from Malaysia, Benetex from Korea and Speedy Products from the UK in the upholstery zone.
